Join the Swindon & Wiltshire Pride Committee
Are you hard-working, enthusiastic and passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community? Being part of the committee isn't just about planning and putting on pride, it's also about engaging with the community, organising and attending monthly fundraisers as well as lots of other little bits to make Pride a success.

We are looking for people who will play an active role throughout the year to help us achieve our mission statement and help put on the main Pride event. If you’ve got specific skills or experience you can bring, then we want to hear from you.
Please note the following:
-
You should be available to attend fortnightly meetings online and sometimes in person (Swindon). These are held on Monday evenings 6:30-8:30 and will change to weekly meetings in the run-up to Pride.
-
Are committed to playing an active role throughout the year, the weeks leading up to pride and over Pride weekend and put in the hours required for your role to help deliver a successful event.
-
If successful, we will require and fund an enhanced DBS check.
-
All roles are voluntary.

Application process:
-
Once you've applied for a role, we'll check through your application and get in touch to arrange a pre-interview.
-
If you pass the pre-interview, you'll then be invited to a virtual meeting where you'll express which role you have applied for and why you would like to be considered for the role.
-
The current Committee and Trustees will ask you some questions, and then you'll be asked to leave the virtual meeting while voting takes place.
-
The outcome of the vote will be emailed to you within 48 hours, whether you are successful or unsuccessful.
